In the immediate term, I'm working to get into paramotoring. I have the money, but I weigh too much for most equipment that is available. Alternatively, that same money could pay for flight school... although already too much student loan debt and moving back to the US doesn't seem ideal either.
In the long term, I'm wondering if this might be a career change I want to consider. More details on that in the proper thread.

Hola!
I am an AZNG Warrant Officer pending completion of Army flight school. I currently have 60 hours of fixed wing time in a Cessna 152/172, but I have not completed my PPL. My goal is to pursue a career in the aviation industry whether it be fixed/rotary wing.
Hope you guys working towards 1500 hours are doing a slow roll or have a short term backup plan. There won’t be much hiring for the next 2-4 years. When it ramps up, there will be a great need, but until then, have something else to do if you are coming out shortly. Good career, except when there are furloughs and you are at the bottom of seniority. Should be stating the obvious, but some are not fully aware of it.
