Howdy!
Flew for the USAF. Got out and did other things for a few years. Now back to flying professionally. Currently a PC-12 capt charter flying around the Caribbean and having a blast. Will probably make the jump to bigger 135 jets or the airlines in the next few years. I built an RV-7 and love giving friends rides.

Long-time viewer, first-time poster. Great site, thanks so much for everyone who posts in support of others (myself included) trying to find our way.
Considering the next phase of my flying career and looking all the options. Great time to be flying for a living, and great to have so many paths from which to choose. We'll see how it goes.
Thanks very much!

Hello to all and thanks for each and all who make this such a great site.
Looking at flight options beyond the Army. Good time to transition but not sure which way I'll go (medevac, CBP, corporate, or maybe the leap to fixed wing). Time will tell.
Great to be here and thanks again!

In General: Fixed wing is not as hard work. (it all gets harder as the years go by)
For what it's worth.

Hi there! I'm a USAF pilot nearing the end of my UPT contract. I'm an instructor pilot in the KC-135 with approximately 2,000 total hours. I did a tour as a T-1 instructor pilot at a UPT base between this assignment and my first, also in the KC-135. I'm hoping to get hired by a legacy or regional carrier and transition directly to the airlines when my contract expires. Any advice or help would be much appreciated and very welcome!

Cheers
Hello gang, I've been a long time lurker of this forum (and the fixed wing world at large) and I'm finally getting to the point of leaving the rotorcraft side to pursue it. My background is all civilian flying, doing utility work and firefighting and fun stuff like that. Or at least it used to be fun. Anyhow, I appreciate everyone being willing to share their advice, this is a great place to learn. I'm working on my ratings and hope to get to my ATP minimums soon. I'm also hoping to be able to create a new thread soon because I have a few questions and apparently the last few years of lurking haven't gotten me any closer to being able to post a question. Or fly airplanes for a living for that matter. Wish everyone well on their journey through this crazy career of flying.

Getting back in the saddle
Retired Navy; F-18s while active duty and 737 in Reserves. ATP with B-737 type. Just shy of 3000 hrs. My biggest concern is I am out of the cockpit for 2 years and not current. Looking to get back in the saddle.
