MHH in May

Ladies and Gents,

I am looking to travel to MHH in May. I am being a typical cheap ass pilot and attempting to avoid paying for a full fare ticket if at all possible. I am pretty flexible and can trough just about any of the FL gateways. Either MCO, FLL, or MIA. Anyone ever tried non-rev travel to the Bahamas? I don't think that MHH is a huge Spring Break destination. Looks like either Eagle or Silver Airways. I'd really like to get down there on May 4th. Any advice? Also, Silver folks, do you allow international JS (I realize it would be based on space avail in the cabin). I could do ZED too.

Silver is probably the way to go. Flights are never full. By then it will be all Saabs so you should be ok with a Jumpseat. I would probably get a zed for the way back and get to the airport early as I'm not sure how familiar the agents in the islands are with those procedures.

Thanks my friend. Is there a way to check loads on Silver as the date gets closer? (Like the week before)

Go to united . Com to check loads or ask here on APC when you go , anyone with a password can check for you , silver is the way to go as we will take pretty much any jumpseater ...

Silver is the best choice. Eagle also goes out of Miami, but they only take one jumpseater, so you will need a ZED fare if you aren't the first one there.

Also a back up option is TCB treasure cay, it's about a 45 min drive from marsh. Silver has both flight options daily out of FLL. AA don't go to TCB.

Thanks. I'll take a look at that. We are staying on Guana Cay and the rest of the group is flying into MHH. I'm willing to have a little more difficulty to save $1200.

The time has come. My first choice is flight 4020 from MCO-MHH. It looks like its booked to 32 with 2 seats blocked off but remaining. We are the only two non-revs listed at this point. Can you guys fill those last two seats or is weight an issue?

The next flight has plenty of seats we just hope to get on this one because the rest of our group is getting in about the same time as this one.

Any info is appreciated.

Thanks,

UA

Should be fine , but if at all possible try to find the crew who is doing it and let them know you're there . Possible to alter fuel a little bit with dispatch. Very easy to do for someone who wants to take the 3 mins of effort to do so good luck :)
