Personally, I can't stand how she's milking this for all it's worth. She comes off as extremely egotistical imo.

Same reason regionals hired 200-400 hr pilots.

The 4 stripes need to go. It really looks like she has confused the part that having a PIC type in the Gulfstream means she can wear 4 stripes. Or she knows and doesn't care. Either way, fix that, be humble at the job opprtunity, and learn everyday.

Paying $27k for a minimum wage job is not "lucky"

Eh, the path worked for me. 3 checkrides total: Private, Instrument, and Commercial-Multi. No commercial-single, no CFI. Right after the commercial multi checkride, I immediately did the RJ course, and got hired at a regional airline. In my logbook, there's one entry for Com/Multi checkride, and the next time I flew a plane (the next actual flight entry) is CRJ when I started IOE. That kinda fast track came at a cost. You're right, the wages suck for regional FOs but I've since moved on and currently on second year pay on the A320, which isn't too bad.

More importantly. Sweet turtle neck.

I see nothing wrong, she seems competent. My only complaint would be to not wear 4 stripes when you haven't really earned it yet.

It seems she runs her own company called Aviloop online, and she is a Speaker attending various conferences (no doubt paid for it too). She seems to be well rounded and business smart.

Funny how the Captain is not wearing ANY stripes and she is wearing 4. Also, nice of her to be walking around with her shirt unbuttoned down to her, well nuff said of her professionalism.

Every day when she wakes up and looks at herself in the mirror she should repeat these words... "I'm not half as good as I think I am."

You have essentially bypassed most of what is great about GA and aviation in general. A glorified ab initio program is what you did.

You are 100% correct, it got you to a jet quick. I have a difficult time relating to people who "skip" experience.

give her a break! any of us would take a fast track... the whole "pay your dues" is a load of BS... good on her.

Yeah.. I am not really jealous. Sure it would be really cool to fly a Gulfstream. When I was 16 I got the opportunity to sit right seat in a King Air 100 for about 50 hours. It was a blast, I was 100% behind the plane, but it was an opportunity of a life time when I was 16. I think about it now and would appreciate it much more now then I did back then when I really didn't know what was going on. Good for her.

Also, she really isn't that attractive.

Boy, watching that video, she only proves she is a 250 hour pilot. Watch it again concentrating on her control inputs in comparison to the horizon. On both the takeoff roll and rollout, she drifts left of the center line. She never manages to set AND HOLD the pitch from rotation until that terrifying emergency (it looks like she almost levels off prior to gear retraction). She's workin' that yoke like she's milkin' a cow: back and forth, up 'n down. And in the flair, she's sawin' away, tryin' to find the ground.

The whole thing made me feel like I was putting a student pilot under the hood: exhausted and queasy.

Am I being too harsh on a 250 hour pilot? If she were flying an Archer full of checks, yeah. But she's a big girl flying a big girl airplane.

There is one good thing about her PIO's: they keep the spices in her rack from getting clumpy. ;)

You're right, lose the 4th stripe. I almost got air-sick watching the video,...way too heavy on the controls!
