Unfortunately Big Boys got it wrong.

The aircraft is a BAe Hawk that is flown by the advanced students at 2 CFFTS (Canadian Forces Flying Training School) out of 15 Wing, CFB Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, Canada.

The student and IP pulled up to the right (north) off the inner and both ejected safely. The IP suffered some lower back injury while the student is fine.

Thanks for the update, you wouldn't happen to have links to the photo of the Herc that "encountered" a bald eagle would you?

Not off hand - but let me look around.
I do have one of the remains of a turkey vulture that took the leading edge off my right wing (between #3 and #4) back in 1997.

Saw the web page the other day and was trying to find the page again when I found this thread. It was a Bald Eagle strike on a C-130 out of Mc Chord AFB.
Finally found the link :D , When Two National Icons Collide (Warning Extremely Graphic).
