Hotels in Munich
 

The only time I've been to Europe is in the back of a C-5 that broke for two days in Rota. I'm looking for some good hotels in Munich. I'm seriously considering a European delivery of a new car toward the end of the year and I'm planning on spending a week in Germany.

My wife and I stayed at the City Hotel in Munich and loved the location. Not too expensive and less than 100 feet to the entrance of the main train station...centrally located. It isn't super fancy, but they had a pretty good free breakfast, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly! Less than smile walk to Marienplatz and the other big tourist areas...Hofbrauhaus is close by also.
