luggage

I had Delsey luggage for quite some years and I can't use it anymore, zipper is destroyed. I have to buy new one. This one was OK, I was satisfied, I have bought it about 5 years ago, not bad, but now I want try something new.
So, what do you use? I had hard case, now I am thinking to try soft case. What do you think?

Strong bags

Luggage works. $299, worth every penny. Heavy, but worth the toughness.

Luggageworks bags are poorly designed, heavy and ugly. I'm convinced people buy them because that's what's presented to every training class, and those who haven't thought much about luggage simply choose to follow the crowd.

If these bags are so rugged and long-lasting, why do they look like frayed rags with chipped paint after a year? Their schtick is all about people associating strong metal with a "strong" bag. It's a scam, and you're over-paying for a garbage product when you choose one of their bags.

From the look of most 5+ year old Luggageworks bags I'd say, no, it hasn't lasted. It looks awful and needs replacing.

Briggs and Riley. Lifetime warranty for any airport damage. Pricey, but perhaps the last one you'll buy for a long time.

My LW is going on year 8. Feel like it's just getting broke in. Only have one issue with one zipper and could have it fixed easily.

Lifelong commuter.

I'll buy another LW in the future. In fact, I wouldn't mind snagging a used 26" at a good price.

2 years in the Saab (after 2.5 years in the 145, so 4.5 years total) and it doesn't have as much as a scratch.

The only thing I'm going to replace are the wheels when I get home, and that's only because I don't like how much resistance the default wheels have.

Oh and another thing I like....I can customize the hell out of this bag! Hello kitty? Sure, done.

It's fabulous!
