Wanted: Support Crew for Phenom 100 (Updated)
 

If you have 1000+ hrs rated on Embraer Phenom 100, a gleaming CV/Resume, all the relevant appropriate paperwork and insurances with certified copies and 2 references; are available in Miami, Fl in September for 2 weeks then we'd like to hear from you.
The Gig is support crew role alongside the very best ex-military pilots, who will be interviewing candidates themselves.
Expenses paid and excellent flying rate of pay.

This is a high profile gig. The ex-fighter jet captain and first officer have stipulated those minimums: much like much of the military we won't compromise our standards. If you think you're up to the exceptionally high minimums and have got what it takes to inspire confidence in the primary crew for this and future missions, we'd be interested to hear from you. It sounds like you should hire the guys you want for only 2 weeks. Of course, I'm probably reading your ad incorrectly.

This post is truly amazing. The more I read it, the more subtle things jump out. First, there's the obvious: the absolutely incredible level of condescension conveyed throughout the posting. I'm sure you may get some responses, but any professional pilot worth hiring would probably steer clear of this simply based on that. I can't imagine what sort of work environment you guys would create with this as your starting point.

Technically, CV (or Curriculum Vitae) and Resume are not interchangeable terms - but I guess as long as either one is "gleaming" they'll do, right?

So, any two weeks will do? The first and last of the month? Should they be consecutive? Dealer's choice?

"much like much"?? So, you won't compromise your standards like the portion of the military that does compromise its standards? Whose military are we talking about anyway?

"think you're up" to the minimums? Minimums are sort of a yes or no situation, right? If someone can't even figure that out for certain, do you really want to hire them?

Probably a good idea you added the (GMT) there. I'm sure Zulu all by itself would have been pretty confusing for all the pilots. :rolleyes:

I saw a Phenom land today in Miami that had a swinging pair of pickup truck nuts between the mains. Was that you guys?

If they are so great, why the need to seek employees? The Blue Angels almost never post "help wanted" ads.

I won't even bother applying since my skills are so far above these guys. Heck, I have elite military forces from six first world countries calling me begging me to fly for them. I turn them all down since I own my own for hire air force.

I am so good, virgin mothers offer their daughters to me. And they should. I have a gazillion hours in A-12, SR-71, U-2, F-16, F-18 (yeah, I served in two branches), A-10 (actually three branches), and B-17s (I went back in time to fly missions over Berlin).

Still, I guess I am unqualified: no Phenom time.

So much ill will in this thread. It sounds like they are just looking for the Best of the Best. Just like when in 1969 the US Navy began a school to address the issues of inadequate air-crew training in air combat maneuvering. This school became known as Topgun.
