Mattress recommendation

Our mattress has butt depressions even though we flip and turn it every 3 months. I think it's time to get a new one before my back finally goes out.

Any recommendations? Anyone try those memory foam things?

What about buckwheat pillows?

Maybe you could experiment with different positions?

I used to have that problem. Got a Sleep Number which is basically a fancy air mattress. No more problem. The wife likes it and I can sleep on about anything after 36 or so years of flying so it works for us. Had it for 10 years or so.

Instead of an entire new mattress, try a memory foam mattress topper, which we like very much at our house. No butt marks yet

That is unless the mattress is 30 years old of course.....

Serta iComfort is what my wife and I have bought in the last 9 months. $2000 i think, but worth it! We had sore backs each morning on the old spring mattress, it was a cheap one I had from my first years out of college, about 8yrs old, and it had dips and lumps for several years.

Best thing to do. Works good, lasts a long time.

My better half has one of these buckwheat pillows and swears its the best thing ever invented...I hate it though, so I guess its one of those things you really have to try for yourself

This is what we have as well. It's amazing. Well worth the money!

We have an icomfort also. The first night or two wasn't great, but every night after that has been incredible. Love that bed.

I had a water bed in College and my first 10 years of marriage, my wife loved it when she was pregnant with twins...until she got to about 7 months and couldn't climb out of it!

She looked like a beetle stuck on it's back, arms and legs flailing away, screaming, "Help! I can't get out!"

We gave it away when we moved, but I did love that bed, made a lot of babies on that thing!

Do they even make water beds any more? I haven't seen or heard anything about them in over 20 years.
