What is there to really know? Haven't you ever had to pay rent anywhere before? You pay a monthly fee, you have a place to lay your head while you are in base of you don't live there.

Try to find one that you get your own bed and hopefully your own room or share with just one other person.

As you get older, you will learn to hate crash pads.

I have only stayed in larger ones.

1. Rooms have 2-4 bunk beds or more.
2. You have to sign up for the shower.
3. Don't leave food around.
4. Hope you don't get someone that snores in the room all the time.

I guess the question I always had was how do you get around? Are crash pads always close to public transit and the airport that you wouldn't need another car?

By older, you mean the second day, right?

Crash pads suck. Next question.

Actually not all crash pads suck. I used to run one in LA. Right on the beach, block to the bus, 2 blocks to Hermosa Beach pier. 6 guys in it with average occupancy about 2. Everybody had their own bed. That's important. Almost looked forward to going on reserve. The place got sold so we moved to Redondo Beach. 3 bedrooms, 8 beds, a block from the beach. Called it the Redondo Beach Pilots Club. Probably still there.
