That's what simulators are for. They are going to be F/Os under the tutelage of a Captain who has flown in actual IMC. That's what's important.

No. Just no.

That is why they are such bad pilots. They lack all real world skills as a pilot.

That's a VERY broad brush that you are painting ERAU pilots with. Level D full flight simulators have been proven to be an effective training tool AND they have an experienced Captain to mentor them in the actual aircraft.

That may be true, but true IMC in a small piston airplane getting knocked around, navigating by vor, needs to be experienced, bonus points if you bounce your head off the ceiling. I had a student walk away from aviation when he experienced it for the first time. Hood time is a joke.

What year did you graduate?

It's funny how I post a photo of proud flight team members and others immediately attack them and accuse them of being bad pilots. They are just jealous that they weren't accepted into Riddle.

CBreezy 04-27-2016 03:38 PM

Wait, that was meant to be serious??

Snuffaluffagus 04-27-2016 03:39 PM

Mm riddle rats. I always cringe when I fly with an FO who went to the Harvard of the skies. I think my state university was 1/3 the tuition and way more girls.

No, what's funny is you posted a pic and called them "The best of the best", and then have the gall to act all butthurt when people ridicule what you did.

But keep going, bro. You're doing great.
