Old PWA vs New TA
I am looking to find the language in the old PWA and the new TA, specifically for the retirement healthcare change.
I'd like to know what Hawaiian used to have, and how their new VEBA language reads.. anyone have these docs or maybe just the excerpts?
Thanks!
Archer

The quick answer is the old plan continued the medical plan like a regular pilot (HMSA, Kaiser) paid by the pilot.
New plan is a health savings account valued at
240k for those retiring now. A lump sum is placed in an account accruing interest with a target sum based on the pilot retiring at 65.
New hires get a flat $5k invested in their account.

Do pilots contribute to it involuntarily at $1/hr? Would their excess 415c contributions go into their accounts? Does the company contribute any more beyond this intial $100M?
Is there any way you could maybe email me the language?

Typing this on my phone so I'll have to keep it brief.
All below 12 yr. Capt Pay
717 - 210 to 247 @ End of contract
321 - 235 to 275
767 - 240 to 281
330 - 290 to 337
FO pay 50-70% of Capt (year 2-12)
The Health retirement is mostly for guys on prop now. New guys get a one time 5000 contribution to HRA.
First year pay is still 36/hr.
Schedules are 12 days off for new hire. Middle of the pack 15 off. Top 25% 17 maybe 18 days off a month.
Can usually bunch days off as a reserve of senior line holder.

With a new Trip Rig of 3.5/1, that would equal 6.85 pay credit per day, no?
At a max credit of 90 hours allowable by the company, that equals 13 days on duty. Am I missing something on how Trip Rig works? (FYI Duty Rig is 60%)

in practice, for 3 day west coast trips that start midday and get back midday two full days later. 48/3.5=13.7 and change
