I’m not surprised they have throttled back on their expansion plans.

Anyone know how full or empty their interisland flights are? They always seem to have cheap "wanna get away" fares available the day prior. Does that mean they are not filling up seats or are they just selling really cheap seats to make sure it doesn't go out empty?

Myidtravel shows every single flight green smiley face and wide open in all directions this week inter-island. That’s any combination of Ogg hnl koa.

I've never seen their gate areas looking very full interisland, especially for a 170 seat a/c.

Not filling seats OR not going out empty are hand in hand with cheap fares...

Besides their wanna get away fares, the rest of their interisland fares are outrageously expensive

34 parked. Should have 80 flying, more or less.

One 4 day I flew had 2 days of inter island flying. 165 was the lowest number. Another trip had 110 as the lowest. With the fares so low, the flights would show 30-40 open the day prior and full the next day. People can buy the tickets and if they don’t need to go, simply cancel and the credit is good for a year with no penalty. We’re seeing high numbers of this happening.

Only 4 flights, but here’s the loads for Friday HNL to KOA.

80 more aircraft would equate to what? 1000 more pilots?
