All 69 Furloughed Pilots were returned to property as active pilots in March (with compete back pay to December 2020).
There are zero furloughs now.
There was a large large displacement of non furloughed pilots to other aircraft types - so the returned furloughed group is now in “Pilot without Position” or no aircraft assigned. Though unofficially all are expected to move to the B717 - very few of the 69 were in this aircraft before furlough.
There is no forecast for when furloughs will return to training, but all are earning minimum guarantee pay with a guarantee of no furloughs prior to January 2022.

All furloughed were put on the 717 FO list. Previously qualified 717 pilots are being trained first among that group in order to get them on the line faster. All pilots on voluntary paid leave are being called back by end of year. Vacancy bid was recently awarded with another one expected to come out in June.

Big rumor on the Alaska thread that they are buying Hawaiian. If so, you might look there.

The COO said today that they do not expect to fly the international market until 1st or 2nd quarter of 2022.
Given than, 69 pilots+ are waiting with no aircraft qualification or training plan (at all) are still sitting at home waiting on training - estimated to happen 3rd quarter.
There is a major ruffle in the senior fleet of 717’s now being assigned to 2 day red eyes; and then the incoming 787 in mid 2022 that will cause some demand for new hiring as well as the further backlog of training events caused my shifting seniority preferences and/or seat locks.
In other news the COO stated that the 717 is expected to be in the fleet well past 2025.
Pilot hiring is not likely to come until late 2022 at the earliest.

he is mistaken, they are two day pairings with required rest on an outerisland. I think a lot of the 717 guys would prefer the continuous duty overnights though. The pairings are terrible.
