I probably know both pilots... Both deserve to be here.. Looks like one is coming and the other should be a no brainier when he has the time...

And yes there is more to it....

It's been a while since I've been on this forum, and now I find my self in a situation, later in life, where I would like to return home to Hawaii, after spending the greater part of my career flying the expat circuit in Asia. I plan on applying for a position with HA, and since it's been so long since I've flown for a US airline, I'm asking for assistance. Can anyone please provide me with some detailed guidance for the interview? It would be great to close out my career flying for the home town airline. Please PM me if need be, and before I'm slammed, I spent hours looking for information on this site and others. Mahalo!

Maybe you should wait unti you actually have an interview before you start asking for advice on it...

Good luck, hope you get on, sounds good for you.

I'd wait, since Hawaiian as a stand alone will be gone soon. Either Delta picks them off or AA or ALK or even WN. Good luck Loco Moco

yeah, so the Mukolele guy had prior real experience before HAL, apparently an RJ captain from the mainland.

There are 4 others, a C17 guy, looks like 20 years, a captain from Empire (Ohana), a Dash 8 captain from the mainland, and and Island Air Captain... total time seems to be in the 4500-5000 range on most..

Maybe the worst advice ever given on this forum.

vacancy bid just came out, 29 open seats... I assume the 5 we hired aren't included, so that leaves 24 new hires.. Looks like most of the growth is on the A330 FO side.. I'm hoping some junior guys from InterIsland can bid over!

Oh. Well. I have been applying to a Delta for three years, can you please give me advice on what I should wear to the interview and what questions I should study for?
