A330 TCAS flight number

Hi HAL pilots . I was jumpseating on an A330 from
HNL -LAS a few weeks ago and noticed that on your guys TCAS display , it shows the aircrafts flight number and airline code. I currently fly the 320 for VX and was wondering how to set that option up on the FMGC to see if we have have that option as well. It would help out a lot when flying into busy airspace like SFO or SoCal. Thanks. And best of luck with the negotiations. We are all here to support you guys and gals !

Sounds like ADS-B in with CDTI.

My guess is it's an ATSAW system.

ATSAW

Pilot207, that is our ADS-B 'in' system that is displayed on our NDs. We have the option of turning the data blocks on or off as necessary if we want to de-clutter the screen. It is very nice for situational awareness, although we can only identify other ADS-B equipped aircraft that way. There's a lot of airliners right now that aren't equipped, but they'll have to be by 2020. And this isn't anything related to TCAS, so you can't see this data by just making an adjustment to that system. ADS is a separate piece of hardware.
