Logging out while sending a message

Is there a way to fix the whole "you typed a nice, long response to a message, but you were logged out of the website because you were inactive too long, so your message is now deleted" feature?

I'll look into that. Thanks for reporting. Thanks.

Hey, good morning, I have asked around, I wish I could come back to you and say that we have a functionality like GMail, that actually saves drafts of your outgoing messages. I'll be looking more into this, for now though, I have 2 quick and easy fixes. But like said, I'll dig more into this. I'll get back to you if I find anything relevant.

2 things:
a) when you log in, please check the "Remember me" flag button
b) if you plan on writing a long reply, please plan on contingency, and potentially write that in a supporting doc, like Word or Notepad.

Hope this helps, let me know.

Nick

Once it happens enough to you, prior to hitting "submit" you'll make a habit of selecting and copying the text of every post you make.

Thank you, I am checking the settings that we have on vbulletin to see if there is anything I can do. Still working on it.
