Mods: Request for new sub-forums
 

I've noticed a lot of the info about COVID-19 is being scattered around various major and regional forums. That's fine if the article only deals with that airline. What I'd like to see is a forum dedicated to news about COVID-19 that does not deal with just one airline or group. Right now that info is spread out among Major, Regional, and Hanger.

Also, with all the stress many pilots have right now I'd like to see a "humor" forum. Right now all we have is "Coffee & Pretzels" in the Major Airlines Forum.

20 years ago I was a Mod on the USAirways board but did not deal with the nuts and bolts of the forum settings. So I don't know how difficult adding forums is. Mostly what I did was post news, ALPA bought me a subscription to Aviation Daily and I would post stories from that. I'm retired now and have lots of time so I post news stories here that might be of interest to the members but I sometimes have trouble figuring out just what forum to post in.

How do I get permission to post in the forums?

To reduce spam and bots, there is a waiting period between account creation and first post.
