Thread Display Glitch
Hi all,
Just had this start happening to me. Whenever I go into a forum thread, my browser decides to reload itself infinitely and add a bunch more of the drop down arrows to the thread, making it impossible to read anything. I’ve attached a screenshot so you can see what I am talking about. I've tried safari, google chrome, on both an iPad and iPhone, and it does it on all platforms. It didn’t used to do this, which makes me wonder if it’s a new problem with an update to the forums or something. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you. https://ibb.co/sbyvj9khttps://ibb.co/sbyvj9k |
I don't see the screenshot?

I have not seen or heard of anything like that, tested on multiple paltforms and browers.
Try disabling all browser add-ons. Try Firefox. |
I have the same thing happen on safari, only on my phone. IPad works great as does Mac.
|
go to Iphone settings and choose "desktop mode" for Safari

Yep, I second the notion of this issue on my iPhone. No issues elsewhere. I have tried everything and nothing seems to fix it. Only occurs once in the thread, all other main pages work fine.
Second, on windows laptop, the new typing box does not seem to highlight spelling errors like the previous version. Am I missing a setting somewhere that someone can help with? Lastly, the stupid "auto save" runs at the top of the text, blocking it... Anyone else have this issue? |
I've got it on iPhone and an iPad mini. The regular iPad seems to work fine.
I wonder if it has something to do with that green [Auto Saved] pop up that so annoyingly appears while you are typing... |

It is annoying, I'll try to get rid of it when I have time. |

Multiple mobile devices, multiple browsers.
Having loading issues. On laptop it works fine. |
I am having the same problem
Hey Mods,
I am still having this problem on my iPad mini 6, regardless whether I am using Chrome or Safari. Since my iPad is my main means of checking this site while I am on rotation, I am effectively ATC ZERO on this website. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. I was able to make this post on a Signature FBO kiosk. Thanks, |
Same issue for me on iphone 12 and chrome. Completely unusable.
|
Still unusable on iPhone 11 and iPad mini.
|
Are the Mods working on this?

Issue persists. No mod activity on this thread in weeks? No updates?
|
Rickair is working on it..

Jan 5, same issue on iPhone
|
That's good.
just some additional info: If you logout, it works fine. I can browse the forums on chrome on iOS (phone or iPad) as long as I'm logged out. The second I login is when I can't read threads. |
Any updates on this? The issue persists and is quite frustrating.
|
I have been having this issue for months on an iPhone (multiple browsers) if I was logged in. Today I came across this thread and tried the "Request Desktop Site" in Chrome and it now acts normally when logged in.
