A Little Help Needed

To all those who could shed some light on this, I require your assistance...

First of all I would like to apologise for what may seem to be a new thread with a silly question. I may most likely lack the required forum skills in the first place; not because I'm poor in computing but because I have not ventured in the area of forums before. For this, I apologise.

I am somewhat befuddled () about the fact why I am unable to view, what I consider to be, the vital forum of Airline Pilot Forums website - the Airline Pilot Forum.
I am aware that I have to be an airline pilot to gain privilege to this particular forum. I would also like to point out that I am an airline pilot (a little bit of an awkward situation here as it's not so easy to prove this fact when one would normally prefer to stay anonymous on such websites!).

I have posted a reply with the above question to a very old thread on this matter. My question went by with no reply for something close to a week. In order to increase my chances of having my question seen, I started a new thread with the same question. The result is that both my new thread as well as the previous old thread have been moved. Where to, I have absolutely no idea! I have tried searching for them, to no avail.

Could someone kindly please tell me:
  1. Where have these threads been moved to?
  2. Who can grant me access to the above mentioned forum?

I have done my homework before having to post this thread. I know that this [new thread] may be frustrating to some mods but this is my final chance to get somewhere. I have searched high and low for a solution, read stickys and other notes but either I have missed the vital info or there is none pertaining to this matter.

One final statement:
Please do not remove this new thread before helping me out! I am at wits' end to how I may solve this issue. If a mod would like to move this thread or delete it entirely, please PM me first!

Thanks!

Didn't I answer you before?

Hang tight..this will get fixed. The people that have the permissions to grant access fly international and may not see this for a few days. It's been seen and we will get back to you. Also...see the possible solution posted below.

Much has changed in the 5 years since that reply.
I'm thinking that with 9 posts and 'New Hire' dates of Nov 12 - that you both probably went through the *new* system of having to read and agree to the rules forum and then the 'Introduce' yourselves forum too.
If so - you might have missed this part of the introduction from the owners of the site linked below.

It isn't a conspiracy; but a little patience and relevant participation is required.

Much appreciated USMC-Sgt! I have the required access I was looking for :) I also have access to my full User profile and my PM section.

Thanks :)

PS: (and this is the edit) I did read the Forum Rules you provided. I 'introduced' myself too as per the instructions. The confusing point (for me) was the following:
After you've been registered for 3 days with 5 non-deleted posts, you'll be able to see and post in the rest of the forums, as well as send private messages (PMs).

It was not that clear to me that I had to write 5 posts as well as be registered for more than 3 days! Moreover, the posts I wanted to create all would have been in the hidden forum. I mis interpreted the instruction as being: "You should not have more than 5 deleted posts [from mods] in the first 3 days you are registered (otherwise you would be thought of as a spammer/no good member). You should also be registered for 3 days or more."
