Default Extremely Annoying Popup Ads on APCF

I know this probably isn't the place to post this, but is anyone else getting extremely annoying tiny pop up ads, usually for other apps, right in the middle of the screen over posts and replies? I am currently using an ipad. Hopefully this isn't just happening to me. Anyone in the know, knows how to get rid of these?

Ya, it's happening to me. My guess it the response rate for adds along the margins is .000001 percent. I guess the rocket scientists that run this forum think they will get a high response if the put the add over the forum post so it can't be read. Like I'm going to buy a product that ****es me off. Jeeeez.

There's probably message boards you could pay to use that don't feature annoying ads.

I don't get pop-ups using Chrome on Windows 7 with pop-ups blocked.

I'm getting them as well, only on the ipad, not PC, Phone etc. It is annoying...you have to stop reading and wait for it to disappear...and when you scroll the screen it or another one pops up again. I haven't found a way to get rid of it yet. It does seem to only happen on this site.
