Same principles of saving and spending apply regardless of whether you make minimum wage flipping burgers or making huge money flying the long haul shuttle to mars and back.

In the end, the law of supply and demand exists with as much force as gravity. So long as someone is willing to pay you more for doing a job, where is the evil in accepting that pay?
there is nothing morally wrong with this at all. The problem for individuals is why are they doing it? Some people are better off, overall, working as long as they can. Others are better off retiring early. Some of the people who are better off retiring early, work as long as they can, and then regret their choice...

do you think the world would be a better place if the money stayed in the hands of the airline rather than in the hands of the experienced pilots doing the work?
our world is way better off, in general with the workers in a company getting more of the money, than the wealthiest of us getting more money.

i don't judge those who are never satisfied with the money they have, i don't know their circumstances. I do pity them, because few can be ambitious and have a sense of contentment.
everyone has problems. Some people would be better off if they understood their problems, and acted to fix their problems, instead of ignoring them.
