I'm at 266 TT and don't expect to gain much more except for currency hours (money). whats the lowest TT you've seen a pilot come on there with? got any ideas on a next step to set myself up for a hirable resume there? here's my situation. live in HI, family in CA, TX. have a house in FT. Worth.

out of currency at the moment.
getting out of the navy in 2 months (enlisted aircrew/loadmaster on GIV)
wife homeschools but will work PT to get us through lean times ( no degree but VERY sharp girl/ administrative type)

221, Thanks for the gouge! I'll do that. meanwhile, getting ready for a long overdue bi-annual. Can you give me a ballpark figure of what an average FO paycheck looks like and what a 2 bedroom apt in the area rents for? I can figure out the rent thing if you tell me where domicile's are.

Probably 3 weeks after the 20th. Usually after ground school which is about 3 weeks and the group moves on to the sim...the next one starts. So maybe the 10th? That's how it was when I did it way back when.

221, Is somebody refered to as JCB still there? I'm reading the Scenic forum and LMAO at some of his/her replies to questions. Blunt truth teller, that JCB! Thanks again for the info. Should I be studying ATP for the written portion of the interview process there or some other question bank? I stopped at the GC with my family on our way to visit wifey's folks in Sonora CA. We were really excited about showing it to our boys (then 9 and 7). We blind folded them in the parking lot and walked them to the edge(they had no clue what we were going to look at. when the bandanas came off, they were like "oh, cool." and walked around looking for rocks to throw to the bottom. I think there goal was to fill it in, haha. We planned on coming back one day to camp along the Colorado in the canyon. Maybe this will be or chance. the boys are 12/10 now. probably still want to fill it in.HAH!
