How to Find Job Info on the Internet...espcially for newbies
#21

MIACapt, I feel like I should get a free toaster with this advertisement. Why, if the pay sites are so good at finding you a "great opportuniity", and you are a Captain and a line holder, would you be looking at job sites at all?
All hiring information is available somewhere, there are just sites that put the information together. There is NO NEED to pay for what you can get for free. Maybe MIACapt should change his name to MIAAirlineCEO for your lack of ability to handle money.
"Checklist for success" was a great book, in 1997. Since then WFFF has been nothing but a site with outdated gouge. Of course Cheryl Cage is charging for the stuff you can get for free elsewhere- United isn't hiring and her $300, decade old, prep can't pay the bills anymore.

Wow, your response is rather inappropriate. (IMO)
The guy was just stating his opinion, obviously frustrated with the state of websites that target pilot's looking for employment. True, you are also stating your opinion, but your intentions don't appear to be helpful in any way.
Rather personal don't you think?

This article talks about using LinkedIn and Xing as a platform for professional networking. It is geared towards IT, financial services, media and education, but less so for aviation or pilot jobs. So, if you are thinking of changing out of aviation, you might want to consider these. Studies have shown that many jobs are not listed or published, but gotten through word of mouth.

Most jobs online posted for pilots are for guys much farther along in there career. To find an entry level job right now would be rare, cause there are enough guys on the street where they can just pass them to the first guy that comes along.

Here's a job search site that has quite a few listings I haven't seen anywhere else, domestic and foreign. Input your flight time and ratings and it gives you a list of jobs you qualify for worldwide:
Airline Pilot Jobs
It also has a system that lets you rate companies based on equipment, pay, and some other stuff. Check it out.
P.S. It's totally free too
