FWIW, UPS may not take your résumé
Didn't see anyone here specifically mention strong UPS interest yet, but if you end up in their line, perhaps the following will be helpful regarding résumé expectations:
Since Aug07 or before, I'm told HR's policy's to not accept physical résumés. They may glance at your paper, but now hand it back, advising to do everything online. They generally say the web-based system doesn't allow viewing an applicant's file/résumé until 'the computer' recommends an interviewee. Admirably, they'll trying to be consistent, & not take anyone's items.
Although others may simply file résumés in the 'circular file,' I think UPS may be unique among the major airlines who attend events like this, by not even taking résumés.
Just FYI; doesn't mean not to have one ready for them. Plus, they could always change their policy before this job fair to accept papers again.
Regardless, good luck!

Yes, what kind of info are you looking for?
Fall DC AIR, Inc job fair:
Started with a couple hundred of your closest friends all wearing black suits with red ties (some gals too). Every airline briefs to the group--what they are looking for, why you should work for them, etc. Lunch is served during some of the briefings. The job fair kicked off at 3pm (I think). Some airlines were still briefing but the smart pilots walked out to go start talking to the airlines. Some airlines collected resumes, asked questions, and took notes. Others like UPS, took a look at your resume, handed it back, and answered your questions. One airline actually said they would call you. Quite a difference in airline approaches.
I found the seminars good but I was very green. Steep learning curve now. I still feel the classes were cheap enough to be worth it. They covered interviews, sim sessions, CRM for interviews, resume classes, and a military transition class.
Let me know if you need more info.

You can pay at the door. Heard from many others that the seminars are a waste of time unless you're just starting out. Otherwise just concentrate on the Job Fair from 3:00 to 8:00pm on Saturday. There you can hand out resumes, meet the recruiters in person, and in some cases get an interview on the spot.
Good luck to all attendees!
