That's the latest that's coming out of the trng center. Supposedly the pool might start getting drained rather quickly, which we're all happy to hear.

Ups Pay

Don't know the new pay rates, just the old that can be found on this web page. Right now I don't care what the new proposed pay rate is. I only care about is getting out of this pool!!!!

Hey PAX2Cargo,
Just wondering how long you've been in the pool? I interviewed in Feb and didn't get a pool letter until the end of April (letter is dated the 4/20). I'm just trying to get an idea of how long folks have been waiting? I hope we ALL get a call soon.

I tend to think the hourly rates on UPS's new contract will be at least what their competitor ABX Air- the old Airborne- are currently (B-767-200): http://www.airlinepilotcentral.com/content/view/26/12/

One of the centerpieces of the IPA proposal is elimination of the B-scale, so I think that could prove to be huge to all the new add-ons to the seniority list this year.

Freighter Captain, Thanks for responding. I looked at the ABX rates , they look similar to FedEx's pay rates. I hope I hear from UPS soon. Thanks again.

Hello Red,

Did the interview in Dec, got the letter with the background check done in Jan 05! I know of a guy who has been in the since Nov or Dec of 04.

Looks like it's happening, as a guy I recommended 5 years ago-- who's been sitting in the pool since Summer 2001-- just today got confirmed a June 13th class assignment.
