Any idea on Pay Rates for the new equipment? Hopefully, ALPA won't allow pilots to operate the new equipment in service of Mesaba unless a pay rate is in place. Mesa pilots have a Jet and Prop rate for F/O's it might be a nice opportunity do the same.
Good Luck!

The early word is Mesaba will hire about 120 pilots to cover the CRJs and transition from our current aircraft, Saab and Avro. I'm suspecting most newhires should get the CRJ because most of our current senior FOs will be taking the upgrade in the Saab and current Saab CAs will be shifting to the CRJ.
Assuming the company is awarded the additional 20 CRJs (its basically a no brainer), that will necessitate about 300 total newhires. Get your resumes in now!
