Default UNC Chapel Hill Pilot Job

Turned up at Monster ("Aviation Operations Supervisor") - looks interesting, I'd apply if I had 700 more hours and already lived down around Raleigh:
---------

DESCRIPTION:
Usually a five-day work week but no fixed work hours. Day, evening, and weekend work schedule depends on passenger requests. Some overnight travel is required. Work environment includes day/night all-weather conditions, and exposure to noise, vibration, and variations in temperature, pressure, and humidity.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Recommended Minimum Training Guideline: Graduation from high school and a minimum of 1000 hours of flight time in a closely related type of aircraft and/or type of mission, along with a minimum of two years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of training and directly related experience. Necessary Special Requirements - Certification as a Commercial Pilot or Airline Transport Pilot, with appropriate ratings; and possession of an FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
Preferred Training: Bachelor's Degree or higher with broad aviation management experience and demonstrated leadership skills. Excellent communication and human relations skills. Outstanding piloting skills, judgement, and customer service skills are required. Non-profit organization experience and familiarity with Area Health Education Centers (AHEC) Program a plus. 1500 hours or more pilot time preferred. Requires yearly physical exam. Must be able to meet the requirements to maintain license.
HOW TO APPLY:

yes it has and if i remember correctly the application is a basic one and has nothing to do with aviation. maybe thats the reason why they haveon't found someone yet.

I think it has not been filled because 50-60K a year doesnt get you much of a lifestyle in Chapel Hill with a family so you are living in Durham and driving against 15-501 traffic. I am a Carolina grad and would love to live in Chapel Hill again but the prospect of topping out over time at 75k does not excite me.

Does anyone know what aircraft they fly? I see they are looking for "1000 hours of flight time in a closely related type of aircraft and/or type of mission", but it doesn't mention that they are looking for experience in any specific model.

Ohhhh...I think I remember the one you're talking about. Ad had similar sound, it was for a Baron, sounded like the "company" was basically a guy looking for someone to fly him around and maybe "learn the business" as well...
