Want a job there, have as many ratings, all your CFI tickets and a bunch of hours to get on their "list" of applicants.

There is always some "it's who you know" in this business as well, and that is no exception to the traffic watch out of BED. I am one of the new guys there that got hired on a few months ago when I got laid off from my 135 gig. Knew the guy that does the hiring and was able to get a slot...but it is true that there are more folks out there with high times and ratings that still can't get in. Sure, there are some "low timers" flying traffic, but the guys I have flown with have some decent hours with CFI ratings and it's a good group of pilots there.
Good luck to all looking for work out there

What kind of hours do you work? I'm instructing across the hall, but with wx cancellations, looking for additional work is becoming a necessity. Just wondering if this is an option.
