Description
The Noise Superintendent will lead the Noise Division and has direct supervision over the Airport’s noise control program at one of the busiest general aviation airports in the country. The Noise Superintendent operates in a complex, dynamic and politically sensitive environment. The position is characterized by extensive interaction with airline operations staff, pilots, federal, state and local agencies, as well as wide public contact. Minimum requirements are a Bachelor’s Degree and three years of increasingly responsible experience in airport noise control, of which at least two years is at a supervisory level. Experience with ANOMS is highly desirable.
Salary range is $64,000-$95,000 and is supplemented by a generous benefits package including 2.5% @ 55 CalPERS. This recruitment will close on Friday, October 24, 2008. Would be an interesting gig.

I am lacking the 3 years of noise experience though =) Unless you count flying an ERJ.
