Any jobs in San Antonio?
Anyone know of any companies hiring in San Antonio? I know its a shot in the dark but I figured I would ask anyway!
|
Check out this interactive map:
Airline Pilot Bases Mouse over Texas and it will give you a list of every company with a pilot base there. Hope it helps. |

Starbase Aviation, Pt. 135 charter & aircraft management company is looking for pilots to crew a BE40. They want local San Antonio pilots, or be willing to relocate there. Check out climbto350.com job listing, or their website at starbasejet.com.
Good Luck! :) Also, Nathanexplosion, thanks for the site info! |
I can help you find a CFI job if you're interested. There's a flight school on the field at SAT that's in need.
|
is the name of the school wright?
|
sure is.....
|
funny they told me that they will call me back and never did.
|
Call them again. Ask to talk to Rick. He's the chief pilot over there. Super nice guy, but busier than a one-armed paper hanger lol. Its not a bad place to work and they are growing.
|
Yeah a lady called me, said that she was in charge, so I'll try again.

Sorry to bump an old thread.. I used to work at Wright Flyers when I was in high school as a refueler.. It's a good company, right now they mainly have Hispanic and Chinese students (They're DVAC and CAAC certified). Rand Goldstein is the president of the company and he's a very nice gentleman.
I'm also in SAT flying a King Air, but business has been bad and I'm looking for alternate sources of income until our business picks up again. |

I heard that rumor too back when I worked for Beijing Pan Am (The Chinese flight school that sent a handful of their students to WF) but that was back in 2007.
|
I teach at the other flight school at SAT, but New Braunfels was looking for some King Air pilots not too long ago.
|
Do you teach at Alpha Tango? I went there for my pvt. Tell Alice and Hameed hello for me....
Lynn |
I do work at Alpha Tango, I am however, rather new and have not met his wife yet.

No, but a large portion will be going. They have some plans in the works.

The FAA is kind of bullying everybody out from what I hear. AT is trying to move part of the school over to New Braunfels.
