It’s no joke; the replacements (SCABS) are for ATCA, Airline Training Center Arizona a subsidiary of Lufthansa. Dave Boles wants to replace the union instructors with newly pinned will work for food CFI’s. The plan is to work 7 days a week and cut the pay and benefits in half by hiring instructors out from under Embry- Riddle, Pan Am and West Wind.
Problem is there’s no multi-engine or IFR, and vary little cross country or night. Lousy for time builders.
