Allegiant Air Job Fair 2/9/2009
This is from the Tacoma News Tribune:
Las Vegas-based Allegiant Air says it will make Bellingham the home base for two of its MD-80 jets and hire dozens of workers to service those planes. Allegiant, which first began service from Bellingham four years ago with service to Las Vegas, said it will employ 80 workers, pilots, ramp agents, customer service workers, aircraft technicians and flight attendants in Bellingham. Allegiant has made a profitable business of linking smaller markets to resort destinations such as Phoenix, Las Vegas and Florida. Allegiant flies from Bellingham to Las Vegas, Palm Springs, Oakland and San Diego, Calif., Phoenix and Reno, Nev. The airline plans a job fair Feb. 9 beginning at 10 a.m. at the Quality INn Baron Suites at 100 Kellogg Road in Bellingham. |

There says there is going to be a career fair at the Texas on the 11th. Any pilot recruiters going? Worth taking some time off work to attend? Thanks

Thanks! it says "no interviews will be conducted." Will there at least be HR reps there like PW? I've had dialogue with her over the last couple of years, and would like to put my face on my resume.

The career fair at the Texas Station Casino is not for pilots... I wouldn't expect to see any pilot recruiters there.

Thanks. We just bought a place over by corp offices so I guess, I'll just have to stop by on occasion and bug em that way :D.
