For anyone interested in a job, out in western Alaska...

I visited with JR Beans (chief pilot) on Wednesday, 2-18. He said they were going to hire nine pilots into the sled. Interviews are on 2-26...9:00 am at the Hageland office in Anchorage. Send him a resume to get set up. Pilots will be based in Bethel and Aniak. Pay is $200/day with a two week on/off schedule. If hired ground school starts on the 27th and goes for eight days with airplane checkout to follow in the bush.

Yes... the Lead Sled.

There's some good guys there. If you can't have a good time flying a sled in bush Alaska then you shouldn't be flying.
