I emailed them my resume, but didn't hear back from them. Guess I'm too low time of a pilot!

I emailed the guy doing the hiring directly, I have a little over 400tt. He said that my total time was fine but a tailwheel rating was a MUST along with 25 hours of tailwheel experience. Hope that helps with the inquiries.

I have around 300 tailwheel time and around 900 tt can someone provide the name and telephone # to whom I should speak to?
thanks

Over 4,000 resumes on file. I have a buddy that works there. Its also PFT. 1500 dollars to go through their training program.

I have just over 300TT, with 6 hrs TW time and my endorsement. That's pretty horrible, but I have to get started somewhere. Need to build up my TW so I can get involved with some warbirds.

I started training today and I didn't have to pay a dime. I had previous banner time (over 500 hrs) so the training fee was waived. And the fee is $500 not 1500. In addition, I can help build signs and work in the hangar with maintenance to make some money while I'm in "training" which will be like a week, then I'll start towing. And 4000 resumes? Tom showed me the stack and its about 2 inches thick, not sure what this translates to in numbers of resumes. I was a little nervous about towing banners again because the last company I worked for had really horrible planes and work rules but van wagner really has their sh!t together. Great airplanes, training is very thorough, and the pay is as good as or probably better than any regional first year FO. If anyone has any specific questions please PM me, but I will say that I think they are done hiring for the season. California bases are full, NY and NJ are about to be when we finish training so I'm not sure what is left. Today was my first day so I don't know everything, but I'll pass along what I learn. I never thought I'd be excited about towing banners again but I'm really looking forward to getting back into the supercup after seeing their operations. Also more than anything I'm happy to have a job that pays good.

yeah, I wish I had that tail wheel time, I'd love to be towing banners right now..

Towing banners is a lot of fun, some will tell you its a bad way to build time since its all VFR day but I could care less what they say. I'm not trying to make myself look good on paper for the regionals or whatever, just trying to have a good time.

I will say that if you have no experience towing banners but at least have your TW endorsement, there are still some companies that will hire you. Only problem is the pay is likely to be $12/hr or less, crappy planes/mx, etc. I worked at a company like this and while it was fun it was pretty scary sometimes. Not sure I would recommend this route for everyone. Knowing what I do now I'd saw try for van wagner and if you dont get it maybe keep instructing or something else. Not many companies are this professional. We even get paid when a flight gets cancelled for weather or MX!
