Well, as fortunes have it, IASCO may be looking for 2 more CFI's at their Redding location. There’s also a rumor of 30 more kids coming in a July/August time frame. This may mean 10 to 12 more instructor jobs by the end of the year.

There is salt in this sugar though! $19 hour for instruction (ground/flight),and .5 pre post per flight, plus 9.50 an hour for any other additional duties (paperwork, transportation, etc). You’ll have 2 to 3 students and only be allowed to fly them once a day in a 2 hour blocks with each student. Stands class is abit tough, you just have to do it their way period.

Good luck

The redding location is not salary like napa (napa is 50k a year and japanese students). As where redding is chinese with 19 an hour. And napa is owned by JAL BTW!

Can anyone who works/worked at IASCO give me some more info for the RDD location:

-Type of students? (Japanese, Chinese?)
-Aircraft Fleet? Type?
-How many hours of flying time/month?
-Pay and cost of living in RDD on IASCO pay?
-Interview process?
