I saw an ad for the flight school in Colorado Springs that does screening for the US Air Force. They are looking and they fly Diamond Katana's. Doss Aviation

Thanks a bunch, I'll check it out!

I applied to Doss a while ago. I got an email from the Chief Instructor saying I wasn't competitive. I guess they are looking for people with about 1000hrs dual given. Hopefully your more competitive than me, good luck!

I have very close to that. We'll see

It looks like it's in Pueblo, not Colorado Springs. Is that right?

Tweet46 05-07-2009 02:43 PM

True statement. Puebhole it is.

Most of the hiring is complete, although a few are trickling in. To be competitive. Mil white jet experience, lots of recent primary instruction. Must have the CFI ticket in hand. Right now there is very little attrition due to the economy....if things pick up furloughee's and poolies may leave and create a few holes..

If you can get in the door it is a great CFI job with very good pay.
