Your best bet- is to check the websites of all the airlines that fly to whatever airport you want to work in, and check under careers or employment for any open position and that airport, etc...

Look for a company that serves multiple airlines. I work for a company here in Anchorage that serves four different airlines.:)

I use Indeed.com, you can set it up to get e-mail alerts, use search function for "customer service agent airlines jobs in ohio"... I get at least one hit a week. I've seen this job listed:

Airline Customer Service/ Ramp Agent job in Cincinnati, OH • Salt Lake City, UT: Customer Service and Hospitality/Travel careers - Yahoo HotJobs

$53,000 per year? I don't think so...

I made quite a bit more than that as a lineman. Granted I worked at a local FBO, not an airline.

HA! That's what ExpressJet told me! Took myself out of school temporarily when they promised they'd work with me...Ended up quitting after 3 months when it became clear they had not been entirely truthful, and just now finished my degree after taking 3.5 years recovering from that career "kick-in-the-groin."

But they aren't hiring. The ground agent who handles Allegiant Air is taking care of them.

Say it ain't so... Toledo gave JetAmerica all that gov't money to create jobs!!! Now it looks like all the jobs (pilots/fa's/rampers) already exist!

Yaeh Quickflight handles all the air service other than AAL at Express. From what I was told by an FBO manager at the airport, Quickflight undercut them to get the contract. From what he said they aren't going to hire anymore people to do it because they already handle Delta in the morning so the same crew will handle the Jet America flights. I was going to go back to work at the airport as a part time supervisor to handle the morning flights if they would have gotten the contract. I still might have a chance a being a fueler though.
