Iraqi Air Force Contract Training
I saw a job on findapilot for contract flight instructing for the Iraqi Air Force.
Does anybody have any information like the company, pay, commitment? Any help is appreciated, I am tired of being unemployed. Fly or die... |
Where did you see the job?

As I understand it, the current contract calls for a graduate of a military instructors' course. Currently, the USAF is doing the flight training for the Iraqi Air Force. Minimum obligation is one year in Iraq, and the living conditions are decent, but not great. The best way to find out if you're qualified is to put in an application.

Thanks
As I understand the USAF is currently doing it too. But with the US pulling out of Iraq they're trying to move this flying to contract work ie PMC stuff. I also heard there is big money to be had when it turns to private contracting (200k+). Like you said, I will just apply and see what happens. No Mil training but over 1000 dual and G1000 time. |
You know the economy is bad when people are willing to go to Iraq for a flying job that is not military.
|
Its not even a flying job. Its a ground instructor job.

I applied, only 500 dual given, so we'll see. I teach the G1000 though day in and day out under IFR. Hoping that will give me a leg up.
