Your being sucessfully hired is based on the needs of the perspective employer and your qualifications being matched. Here is an example... I have an ATP with B777, B747, B737, BA4100 & BA3100 Ratings with 12K+ hours and most of the 747 & 777 is Captain time. Now if you would place me with a 1,750 hour pilot with 500+ taildragger time and we both were going to apply for a position flying a taildragger for banner towing along the beach, who do you think they are going to hire? Airnet has had guys on furlough for a while. Some guys were downgraded from Lear captain to flying the Chieftain. |
