Default Best pilot job website?

Does anyone have any thoughts on which website(s) is the best for looking for pilot jobs? Yes, I already know how bad the market is right now, but there still are a few flying opportunities available. I am considering getting a subscription to Will Fly For Food, but wanted to see if anyone had any thoughts on which site is the best. I would be looking for jobs for low-time pilots, such as flight instructing, banner towing, etc. Thanks in advance for your feedback.

ufgatorpilot -

I've not used many of them in the past but I did compile a list of some of the job sites of another post on the forum some time ago. It seems they are a mixture of pay and free sites. In this environment it would seem smart to exhaust the free site before starting to join every pay site on the internet. Hopefully some other member can chime in on the **good** sites for you too! Good luck!

I'd save your money! Unless you have thousands of hours and several type ratings and willing to go overseas, you are just wasting your money. There might be a few low time jobs floating around, but they will be filled before you'll hit the Apply button. If I were you, I'd take that money and put it towards gas, hang out at your local flight school, FBO, airport, etc. You'll be surprised what kind of people you meet that might be able to hook you up with a job. It's worked for me in the past.

I would say willflyforfood.com is the best one out there right now. They do give you a free preview of all of their jobs so you can get a pretty good idea of what kinds of jobs are available. There are not nearly as many low time jobs as there were last year but they do seem to list several every week. I wouldn't wait long to apply though as I think they get filled pretty fast! I have tried most of them and have had then best luck recently with WFFF. Best wishes to you!

Thanks for the chuckle. And thanks for all of the serious responses too. Since I've already made one lousy career choice, perhaps one wasn't enough for me.

Out of curiosity, when the regionals were going crazy hiring pilots with 250 hours and flight schools couldn't keep instructors around, what did the pilot jobs websites look like? Were there just a ton of job postings each day, even for low-time pilots like myself?
