Hi!
It's all relative. Compared to Air France, it's a crap job. Compared to being a native working for King Leopold in the Congo Free State, it is heaven (see "Heart Of Darkness", if you are interested).

I flew there about 4 years ago, was a good company then, took a little while to work your way up to decent pay as a new hire but heard that has changed. It was pretty fun, the people that worked there made the on-demand lifestyle much more bearable. I was on the 121 side, wish I got to fly the falcon but oh well the Convair was fun too.

Before I get flooded...
here's the heads up...
Our falcon runs are out of TVF and SDF those are the 2 sched runs. But if the posting says for PTK than you will be an "on-call" pilot. the guys here are currently rotating every other night-ish sitting hot seat from 8 till 12 in case one of the sched runs needs to be saved. (no worries though, you get your per diem for sitting hot seat). after that you are givin' some time off and then go back on call to be called out for any flight they might need. It is not 24/7 because you need mandatory time off so it's not that bad. Currently the first officers are rotating with 2wks in SDF and 4wks in ptk, but should be going back to full time ptk soon.
Please don't quote me on anything, I'm a part 121 guy and I just go where they tell me too, but that has been the norm lately. Good luck to all those who apply!
