Summary - CoPilot:

Classification:Regular Full Time
Shift:40Hr- M-F Day
Location:AT&T - Southwest

Responsibilities - CoPilot:
  • Performs flight planning, aircraft inspection, weather analysis and aircraft performance assessment.
  • Assists Pilot-In-Command with discharge of safety duties and operation of company aircraft.

CoPilotRequirements - CoPilot:
  • Required Skills:Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate, Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) first-class medical certificate, minimum 2,500 hours total flight time, 1,000 hours multiengine land flight time.
  • Two (2) years college.
  • Must pass formal background checks.
  • Desired Skills:Previous corporate flight operations experience, proficient with Microsoft Office suite of applications

call me ignorant then...if they have pilots on furlough why would they have a job posting? is this there way of circumnavigating them?

It's the corporate world. There is no seniority list. If they want to "furlough" you, it simply means "you're gone." They can then hire someone else whenever they want.

This isn't the airlines...
