What do you need to know ?
Ask specific questions and I'll try to provide specific answers.
Do you not know anything at all about the interview or are you seeking specific advice on something in particular ?

Emirates (2nd chance?)
Sorry for veering off course this topic but was wondering whether anybody could possibly shed some light on the following.
I was interviewed with EK just over 5 years ago and failed. Has anybody ever been given a 2nd chance to attend another interview? I heard some rumours to this effect but was hoping for some first hand information.
Thanks for your replies.

The answer given to me recently, when I asked the Manager of Pilot Recruitment, was to apply. There had always been a policy of not re-intervewing, but that may change or they may allow exceptions.
Now would be a good time as the pool of qualified applicants is lower than it has been in many years.

Thanks a million Typhoonpilot. Your post is indeed very good news. I will submit my application and see how it goes.
Thanks a lot once again.
Sorry JIFNA for veering off the subject you started. I wish you the very best of luck for your upcoming interview. From my experience (5 yrs ago so matters might have changed) I would just recommend you go there relaxed and in the right frame of mind, in other word be yourself. Forget about your worries and trouble. Be prepared , mentally more than technically. Questions asked in the tech exam is to calculate density altitude, movement of the ITCZ at a particular month, decoding of a TAF or METAR, EK's engine type on a particular fleet (my question was A310). At the moment that's all I remember. If I remember something else I will post it.
Hope that I might have been of some help

Hello Typhoonpilot,
I wrote to you from another thread seeking info on what to study. I see that you do recommend the Interview Handbook. Is there anything else you recommend for praparation? I will be interviewing for a DEC position. Thanks, again.

Hello Jifna,
How did your interview go? I know it has been a while, but I'm trying to get info on the process. I've been invited to interview in the near future. Any info you can provide will be appreciated. Thanks.
