FAA ASI Ops jobs?

Anybody been referred for an interview? I believe the big hiring push is on hold until the FAA reauthorization bill passes, but there are occasional vacancies posted.

Had an app on file for two years, have two referrals but no interviews.

I've applied to just about every one of the FAA jobs and never heard anything back. ATP, 4,200 hours, 737 type, military EP/IP, airline, military & Boeing experience, etc.

RedFeather -

Does the FAA Reauthorization Bill have to do with the budget? I did hear that they are operating under a 'continuing resolution', basically operating on last years budget and didn't know exactly how this might affect any new hiring.

I beleive the are still on a CR. I have heard individual offices however are hiring sporadically. SAT for example is getting ready to hire 3.

I think a big part of it is knocking on the FSDO doors.
