Default Guys!!! I need all the advice I can get!!!

Just found out that my wife was offered a killer oppertunity in Mexico and wants to take it! This may mean a move as soon as 3 months from now!!! Anyone out there have any advice for a 700TT pilot looking to fly in Mexico? Or any job for that matter! Help!!

Get a job stateside and commute?

2 weeks on 2 weeks off somewhere would probably work for you.

Default flying down south

I'm sure you may be able to find a gig towing banners. I recently jump seated down to Cancun and saw a little Cessna flying up and down the beach towing an ad. Good luck

I heard Mexican airline and corporate pilots are the highest paid in Latin America.... Believe it or not some of those guys make close to what we make here, specially the guys flying the big stuff, Falcon 2000s, Globals, Gulfstreams, etc

Obviously with 700 total time you won't be able to get anything like that, but if you're moving to a resort town like Cancun, Cabo, Puerto Vallarta or Cozumel, you'd have a good chance at getting a prop gig.... in those towns they want pilots who speak perfect English

I'm sure there are plenty of flying opportunities down there, some probably paying $10K or more per leg....
