Thanks for posting!

SkyStormer6 02-09-2010 09:23 AM

i just applied, along with about a thousand others im sure :-) thanks for posting 73M!! that'd be a sweet plane to get some time in and i'm from the carolinas originally and wouldn't mind going back.

wareagle07 02-11-2010 06:20 AM

has anybody heard back? or found a way to get your stuff to them other than the website? I wouldn't mind getting back to the carolinas either.

Haven't heard anything out of them, and the website wasn't terribly helpful. I couldn't find any contact information to follow up with anyone, either.

Nothing yet except for the automated email response.

I met their Chief Pilot last year at a company safety standdown. Nice guy, prior Marine pilot. They seem to have a good operation. Good luck you guys.

JetPiedmont 02-11-2010 07:07 PM

"They seem to have a good operation."

What kind of flying do they do? Executive travel? Where do they fly to?

TedStryker 02-12-2010 12:50 PM

Robert Sumwalt from the NTSB used to be their Manager of Aviation, so I would imagine they have they generally have their ****** together as far as flight operations are concerned.

N9373M 02-12-2010 01:56 PM

Since they do nuclear fuel, I would hope so!!!:)

(power plants, not planes)

dbtownley 02-12-2010 06:15 PM

I think they fly their specialists from one plant to another and some exec movements. Their operations (SMS, Leadership, etc) is top notch.

trafly 02-17-2010 08:40 AM

I see they're hiring Life Guards for their club on Sullivan Island, SC. So if the flying thing doesn't work out......

Didn't get a response from Scana, and the job posting is no longer on the website. Oh well. Anybody hear from them?

fastmulti 02-23-2010 06:16 AM

Applied and talked to them. It's done. You gotta be born into that job.

SkiBum112 02-23-2010 09:24 AM

I love it when they post jobs just to CYA legally.
