Latest UPS Hiring NEWS
From our latest Chief Pilots Hotline:
Effective July 31, 2006, all candidates who have previously expressed interest in a flight officer position or other airline positions at UPS must return to www.upsjobs.com and re-submit their information to be considered for employment. Enhancements have been made to the system that will provide more functionality.
Candidates should go to www.upsjobs.com and locate the Flight Officer position that is currently posted. Once they pull up the posting they will see instructions on how to be considered for these openings. Again, it is required that everyone who wishes to demonstrate interest in employment as a Flight Officer go back to the website to re-submit their information.
Due to these changes, no paper resumes will be accepted or solicited by Flight Human Resources.
The pilot referral process has been an integral part of our employment practices and will continue. UPS crewmembers can still complete a recommendation via Airupsers.com.

I find this very funny because I was looking into getting a FCC Res. RadioTel. Operators Permit in the future also.
In order to obtain that license you would have to complete FCC Form 605 and pay a $50 fee. Now, I've heard it the past that it was a little more then $50, so I'm not really sure on that. However, to obtain the form you can call,
(202) 418-3676 for fill out an application on line.
Here's the link where I got this information from.

I'm sure there's an easier way, but this is what I found. I hope this helps.
Good Luck!

UPS still hiring UFN (at a slow rate)
An excerpt from this weekends union hotline (our TC max is about 25 newhires/month) :
The Company reaffirmed their intention to continue hiring as fast as the UPS Training Center can train and qualify crewmembers. The Company confirmed that the new scheduling rules—along with expanded flying opportunities—will continue the pressure for additional hiring. Further hiring will be needed to ensure system integrity.
