Sri Lankan Airlines

SriLankan Airlines - Careers

Hiring type rated F/Os for A320. 500 hours on type required.
Has 5 A340-300s, 4 A330-200s, and 5 320-200s.
The airline is expanding and are in the process of revamping their fleet.
Some destinations: India, Hong Kong, China, Japan, All over the Mid East, South East Asia, and all over Europe.
Total # pilots, last I heard was around 190.

Pilots who work for Sri Lankan has gone over to airline such as: Emirates, Etihad, and Cathay.
There is also a cadet pilot program that requires candidates to be a Sri Lankan citizen with a commercial, IR, and multi engine ratings.

How do I know all this? I am originally from Sri Lanka, and I always keep an eye out for how the airline is doing. I don't know anyone who works for the airline, and I haven't been to Sri Lanka in 10 years, so I have no idea of what the living conditions are like now. There was a civil war for about 27 years that ended a couple of years ago, so it is getting better, BUT it is still very much a third world country.
