JetBlue Job Fair
Now that the job fairs are underway in MCO, can anyone report back as to what to expect for those of us going later this week? How was the overall experience? What can we expect to do? Any tips or advice? Oh, and also, what is everyone wearing to these things? I'm still undecided. Thanks for the info.

ATTIRE: The JetBlue Pilot Career Fairs are casual events, so please wear commuter-friendly, business casual attire or your uniform.
Was planning on a suit and tie and all that, but I'm gonna skip it based on that.

Yeah, I'm in the same boat. My first inclination was to wear a suit since it involves HR people and trying to get a job, but I don't want to ignore their instructions and/or give off the impression that I'm uptight. After all, a big part of their corporate culture is fun. Oh, and Tim Martins can show up in a flight suit (that he bought at the local surplus store). lol.

Some were wearing uniforms, some in business casual. I didn't see anyone in a suit. We were told numerous times that we could take our ties off if that would be more comfortable. It really was a more laid back, relaxed atmosphere.
No surprises as for what to expect. They take your "boarding pass" and resume, they give you a presentation on the company, you take a quick tour of their training facilities, do a round table informal interview, more so to get to know you than interviewing you. Overall, a really pleasant experience.

Learn the JB 'values' especially if you get an interview, read about the company.. Officers..some history.. things like that. Ask questions about OSC the company is really proud of it (The Orlando Training Center).. Good Luck.
Don't wear a suit.
